 Loutre
Shore Country Club is located 1.5 miles north of Hermann, MO
at the edge of the beautiful Rhine Valley in the heart of
Missouri’s Wine Country. The
rolling hills of the Rhine Valley provide a beautiful setting for one of the most challenging nine
hole courses you’ll find anywhere.
The course features lush, zoyzia covered fairways and tees,
postage stamp size bent grass greens, numerous tree and water
hazards and a 6654 yard par 72 layout that will demand the respect
of any serious golfer.
Built
in 1967, Loutre Shore Country Club is a semi-private, member
owned, nine hole course with a full Pro Shop and driving range.
The Pro Shop carries most of the top brands and has
equipment and cart rental for those who cannot travel with clubs.
The
club house, with a full bar and extensive selection of Hermann
area wines, provides a relaxing area to enjoy the beauty of Loutre
Shore Country Club. Just
12 miles south of Interstate 70 and one hour west of
St. Charles, MO, Loutre
Shore
is a great place to play golf and enjoy all that the Historic
Hermann area has to offer. |
Clubhouse
Remodeling Project
The
clubhouse is currently being remodeled by Joe and Travis Kopp of Joe
Kopp Construction. The kitchen
will be moved to where the bar was located. The bar will be moved
to the area in front of the storage room on the north side of the
building. There will be a 10 by 20 room added onto the east side
of the building. Both Men’s and Women’s restrooms will be
enlarged. Some of the flooring in the building will be replaced
and all of the walls will be
painted.
The
House Committee includes Larry Schubert, Stan Hall, and Dr James Kieth.
There is a decorating committee that will be doing the painting and
helping out with the flooring, etc.
